bankruptcy law. In 1998, Mr. Grier, Jr. became Of Counsel to the firm. On October 1, 1998, J. Cameron Furr became a member of the firm, and the firm changed its name to Grier & Furr,
P.A. Mr. Grier, Jr. has since retired.
With the admission of C. Michael Crisp as a member of the firm in March, 2004, the firm changed its name to Grier Furr & Crisp, PA. A. Cotten Wright is the firm's newest member having
become a member July 1, 2007.
The founding attorneys set out to develop a firm centering on the practice of several types of law, including business transactions, business bankruptcy and workouts, estate planning and
administration, commercial real estate, municipal law, and commercial litigation. The goal was to render exceptional legal services promptly and at a fair cost. They were committed to the
fundamental principle that the client's interest must be the paramount concern - it is a principle that continues to guide the daily practice of the firm.
