The firm's recruitment efforts are focused on its summer associate program. The purpose of the program is to assist our summer associates in gaining hands-on experience in the practice of law,
fostering their professional growth. Our summer associates are exposed to each of the firm's practice areas and receive feedback on their work from the firm's attorneys. While with the firm,
summer associates perform substantive work for the firm's clients such as drafting memoranda, pleadings, and legal briefs. The firm's summer associates also have opportunities to attend client
meetings, court hearings, depositions, mediations and the like, enhancing their practical experience.
The firm generally hires two summer associates each year. Hiring preference is given to students who have completed their second year of law school and who are participating in either a journal or
moot court. The firm's summer associates generally split the summer, with one working from late May to early July, and the other working from early July to late August.
